Energy Saving and Sustainabilty
Saving energy and the associated reduction in carbon dioxide levels is an important feature of our business and personal lives. Saving energy preserves our finite resources, conserving supplies for future generations. It promotes better health by reducing pollution. This benefits our natural environment and wildlife. It also saves us money. So when it comes to making business journeys we ask you to consider, where possible, using public transport or car sharing in order to save fuel usage.
See our articles on saving fuel and the benefits of public transport.
When you next change your car you should consider an all electric or a hybrid (part petrol, part electric) vehicle. These cars represent a shift to sustainability and advancing battery technology means a growing mileage per charge is achievable, at lower cost. Government legislation will also lead to the phasing out of petrol/diesel cars in the future.
See our article on Electric Vehicles.
