MSC, IR35 worries?

Well worry no longer, MyPay operates a fully compliant service where your income will be subject to PAYE deductions. This means you can relax knowing that you are fully compliant with both the Managed Service Company legislation and IR35. This is potentially not the case if you use a Personal Service Company (PSC).

How do I get tax relief on MyPay fees?

When we deduct our fee we take this from your gross income and not from your net.  This means it reduces the amount of tax and National Insurance Contributions that you pay, so in turn it brings down the price you pay for our services.

Is this better than paying a percentage fee?

A percentage fee can sound very low at first, however when you do the maths you realise exactly how much you are paying. For example a contractor earning £250 a day on a 3% fee will actually pay £162 in a calendar month.

In most cases a percentage fee also means you have to pay extra if you were to receive a pay-rise or a bonus payment because the percentage fee comes directly off your gross income.

The main reason people use them is so they do not have to pay anything when they are not earning. However with MyPay we will not charge you for this anyway, so you can have the convenience of a competitive flat fee with the assurance of nothing to pay when you’re not earning.
